Do I have to submit my local contest payment at the same time as the paperwork?

Local contests must submit payment for the Snow Queen and Junior Snow Queen portions of their event by Friday, Sept. 16 but talent contest registration fees can be submitted within three days of the contest being held.
How should I submit Queen photos?

The original digital file is best for publication and marketing purposes. Please ask all candidates at the local level to provide you with an original digital file as well as a hard copy to attach to their paperwork for the judges. Photos should be sent as jpeg files to sdsnowqueenlocalcontest@gmail.com within 3 days of your contest being held.
When is the SDSQ Festival?

Junior Snow Queen weekend is set for January 3-4, 2025 and Snow Queen is scheduled for January 9-11, 2025.
A local queen wore white when she won; can she wear that white dress at SDSQ Festival?

No. Queen candidates at the State level are asked to refrain from wearing white out of respect for the Snow Queen and Junior Snow Queen.
